Jessica + Chris

Scroll down to learn more about Jessica and Chris...

What was your first date?: Our first date was at Patty O's during the STL Cardinals' World Series victory of 2011! Needless to say we love the St. Louis Cardinals and the playoffs! Since we were there along with 50,000 other people we did have a first "real" date at Chava's Mexican restaurant in Soulard. But we owe it all to the Cardinals!

How did he propose?: Chris planned a whole day of events! First, we had lunch at Crushed Red in Clayton then we went ice skating in forest park. We had talked about marriage so I was a little curious of what this day date was about but when nothing happened at the ice skating rink I thought "that was his chance. It won't be happening today, I guess." That evening I knew (or should I say thought) we had dinner plans with his family to celebrate their wedding anniversary. We were going to 360 bar and I was excited because we have never been there before. Little did I know our plans to meet his family was just a white lie to get myself dressed up and to the restaurant without thinking anything of it. It worked! When we got there he said his family was running behind so we just grabbed a drink at the bar...He asked the waitress to take our picture outside. (Still not thinking anything is happening becuase again his family is coming and it is only normal to want a picture at 360 bar on the balcony if you have never been.) We took a few pictures and then he turns and looks at me and I KNEW something was up right away. I could see it in his eyes. I will never forget the amazing things he said to me before he got down on one knee and proposed at sunset overlooking where it all began - Busch Stadium.

And his family did surprise us along with my family after the intimate proposal! :)

Is there a tv show you two can't miss?: Blacklist and Million Dollar Listing NY.

Any pets?: Not yet - but after the wedding that is the first thng on our to do list.

What is your date style?:  Finding a great patio to sit outside and drink some wine is a great evening out for us. We love trying new restaurants and going out to dinner but we also both love sports and baseball so any chance we can catch a game is a perfect date!

Do either of you have a hobby? If so, what is it?: Jess enjoys running, completed a 1/2 marathon and plans to again this year. Chris enjoys anything sports related, he plays a lot of golf.
